Child at UN

A small, unnamed voice in a crowd scene, this child turns up at a session of the UN as Futurama pokes at the pomposity of world bodies. Given only a line or two, the kid exists mainly to deliver a quick, deadpan gag amid the adults' bureaucratic nonsense.

Tress MacNeille, one of the show's great utility voices, can make even a throwaway one-line child sound fully formed, landing the joke's timing without over-selling it. It's a tiny piece of Futurama's background texture — proof the show cared enough to make even its blink-and-you-miss-it roles funny.
