A minor medical figure glimpsed in passing in New New York, dispensing brisk professional opinions with the deadpan confidence the show gives to every incidental expert. Little is shown of a life beyond the consultation room; the joke is in the specificity of the title and the certainty of the delivery.

Billy West's gift for one-scene voices is the whole appeal here — a clipped, matter-of-fact register dropped into an absurd premise without any wink to the audience. Futurama often gets its biggest laughs from background characters treated with total sincerity, and this is a tidy example of that trick.
