Chief O'Manahan

Chief O'Manahan holds down a corner of New New York's bureaucracy as one of the city's authority figures, popping up whenever the Planet Express crew runs afoul of the law. Gruff, no-nonsense, and utterly unimpressed by their excuses, she treats each new catastrophe as just another shift.

Tress MacNeille, a Futurama utility player who voices dozens of one-off and recurring roles, gives the Chief a flat, weary authority that lands jokes without straining for them. She's a small, sturdy piece of the show's civic furniture — proof that Futurama's world feels lived-in even in its margins.
