Chandra

Chandra Kapoor is a young, ambitious lawyer at a corporate firm, more comfortable with paperwork than murder trials. When she's pulled into Naz Khan's case, she's eager to prove herself, drawn in partly because she and Naz share a background — and increasingly out of her depth.

Amara Karan plays Chandra's inexperience without condescension, letting her competence and her naivety sit side by side. The show uses her to ask an uncomfortable question — how much does good intention matter against a system built to punish, and what does it cost a young lawyer to actually care.
