Cedric

Cedric is a dungeon dweller in the fantastical world of Knightmare, a fawning, self-important figure who greets each young adventurer with exaggerated courtesy while clearly angling for his own advantage. He offers guidance dressed up as generosity, flatters freely, and never quite hides the calculation behind his smile.

Lawrence Werber plays him with a theatrical unctuousness that turns a minor guide role into pure comic texture — every bow and honeyed phrase suggests someone working an angle. Against the show's earnest quest-fantasy tone, Cedric's oily self-interest is a sly, knowing wink that children delighted in seeing through.
