Cecilia "Cece" Parekh

Cece is Jess's oldest and closest friend, a working model with a dry, unimpressed exterior who drops by the loft mostly to keep an eye on her recently single roommate. She's sharp-tongued with the guys, protective of Jess, and visibly bored by their nonsense — until she isn't quite as immune to it as she pretends.

Hannah Simone plays deadpan without going cold; Cece's eye-rolls always have warmth underneath, so the show can use her as the sane outsider judging the loft's chaos while still folding her into it. The writing trusts her friendship with Jess to feel real and unforced, which grounds every sillier storyline around her.
