She exists to move a scene along, sizing people up with the flat efficiency of someone who has seen every type before and cares about none of them.

Tress MacNeille, one of animation's great utility voices, gives even a throwaway role like this a crisp, lived-in specificity — a tone of professional boredom that lands funnier than a bigger performance would. It's a small proof of how Futurama's world feels full even in its margins.
