Cassidy "Beaver" Casablancas

Kyle Gallner plays him with a stillness that reads as shyness rather than anything more, and that restraint is the whole trick: the show lets you dismiss him exactly as everyone around him does. It's a performance built on subtraction, on making blankness feel like a personality rather than a withholding, which is precisely what makes him worth watching closely.
