Cassian Andor

Cassian Andor scrapes by on the margins of the Empire, buying and selling stolen parts on the dusty world of Ferrix. He's guarded, quick-tempered, and looking out for no one but himself and the family that raised him. A violent run-in with corporate security sends him underground, a hunted man with no cause but survival.

The show refuses to hand him nobility up front — he lies, steals, and kills to save his own skin, and Diego Luna plays that plainly, without apology or wink to the audience. It's a rare thing in this universe: a hero built from the ground up, out of exhaustion and necessity rather than destiny.
