Cartridge Unit is a minor robotic figure glimpsed in Futurama's sprawling background world, one of the countless mechanical beings that populate New New York without ever stepping into the spotlight. Maurice LaMarche's voice work is the whole appeal here: even a background robot gets a specific, committed vocal choice rather than a throwaway line.
