Carnie 2 is one of the nameless sideshow workers who pop up whenever the crew of Planet Express wanders into a fairground, hawking games, prizes, or oddities with the flat, weary charm of someone who has seen every mark this century. She exists to needle the plot along for a scene, then vanishes.

Futurama's genius is stacking its world with disposable voices like this one, and Tress MacNeille gives even a one-scene carnival barker a distinct rasp and rhythm rather than a generic filler tone. It's a small proof of how densely performed the show's background texture is.
