Carmen "Carmy" Berzatto

Carmy is a decorated fine-dining chef who comes home to Chicago to run his late brother's sandwich shop, a place held together by duct tape, debt, and a kitchen crew that owes him nothing. He is exacting, quietly grieving, and trying to impose Michelin-level discipline on chaos he barely understands.

White plays him almost entirely through tension in the shoulders and clipped, overlapping speech, letting the show's noise do the emotional work his character can't. Carmy rarely explains himself, so you watch him instead, and the gap between his composure and his obvious unraveling is where the whole series lives.
