Butcher Bot

Butcher Bot is exactly what the name promises: a robot built for the meat trade, going about a grim, blood-spattered job with total professional calm. He is background texture in Futurama's future New New York, one more machine slotted into a human occupation, indifferent to how gruesome the work looks to everyone else.

The joke is entirely in the mismatch between the mundane job title and the future-noir absurdity of a robot doing it without complaint, and John DiMaggio (already Bender's voice) gives him a flat, unbothered gruffness that sells the deadpan. He is a blink-and-miss-it bit, but the kind of throwaway craftsmanship that makes Futurama's world feel lived-in.
