Butch

Butch is a hardened inmate doing time in a women's robot prison, all scowl and swagger, the kind of tough who's seen it all and isn't impressed by newcomers. She sizes up fresh arrivals fast, throws her weight around the yard, and makes it clear who's really running the block.

She's a gleeful, compact parody of every prison-movie tough girl, and Tress MacNeille plays her with a gravelly, no-nonsense growl that never winks too hard at the joke. The character works because the show commits fully to the cliché instead of softening it, letting the deadpan absurdity of a robot prison yard do the comedic heavy lifting.
