Business Monkey

Business Monkey is exactly what the name promises: a chimp in a suit, clutching a briefcase, talking in the flattened jargon of corporate meetings as if evolution had skipped straight from banana to boardroom. He turns up wherever Futurama needs a sight gag about mindless office culture, fully committed to his spreadsheets and his synergy.

He works because nobody treats the joke as a joke — Maurice LaMarche gives him the clipped, self-important cadence of a real executive, not a cartoon animal doing a bit, and the show never explains him further. That refusal to elaborate is the punchline: corporate life is already so absurd that a monkey fits right in without comment.
