Bus Driver

He's the driver of the school bus in Big Mouth's world, a background fixture who occasionally swerves the plot to deliver a strange little monologue — usually some tangential historical or biological fact delivered with total sincerity, then he's gone. He doesn't want anything from the kids; he just wants to tell you something odd.

He's a pure delivery device for the show's habit of stopping cold for a bizarre digression, and Fred Armisen's flat, earnest cadence sells the non-sequiturs as if they matter enormously. The joke isn't the fact itself — it's the commitment, the sense that this driver has been waiting all day to tell you this.
