Bronson Twist

Bronson Twist is the youngest of the Twist children, newly settled with his family in a converted lighthouse on the Australian coast. Cheeky, curious and quick to blurt out whatever strange thing he's just seen, he's the one most likely to stumble headfirst into the town's odd goings-on and drag his siblings along with him.

Rodney McLennan plays him with an unguarded, wide-eyed energy that suits a show where the impossible is treated as perfectly ordinary. Bronson's role as the family's instigator and youngest voice gives the series its sense of mischief, and his reactions—delighted rather than frightened—set the tone for the whole lighthouse household.
