British Robot

A minor robot on Futurama distinguished mainly by his crisp, upper-crust English accent, which he deploys with the mild condescension of someone perpetually unimpressed by the humans and lesser robots around him. He turns up here and there, unbothered by plot, simply existing as a small dose of poshness in a grubby future.

David Herman gives him a voice so exactly, cartoonishly British that the joke is almost entirely in the delivery rather than the writing — a few clipped syllables and the character is complete. Futurama is full of throwaway robots like this, and he sticks precisely because he never overstays his welcome or asks to be taken seriously.
