Brienne of Tarth

She serves whichever oath she has sworn with total literalness, wants honor above comfort, and rarely explains herself when insulted.

Christie plays her not as a joke about size but as someone whose enormous physical presence keeps colliding with a court that only values women as ornaments. The writing lets her earnestness be strength rather than naivety, and the fight choreography treats her as genuinely formidable, which makes her dignity feel earned rather than sentimental.
