Tress MacNeille built a career finding voice and texture in exactly these blink-and-miss roles, and Futurama's crowded frames depend on performers who can make a single unnamed face feel inhabited rather than filler. The joke, if there is one, lives in the gap between the ceremony and the absurd world surrounding it.
