Brett O'Keefe

Brett O'Keefe is a firebrand cable-news host who has built an empire on distrust of Washington. Loud, combative, and gleefully unfiltered, he treats every broadcast as a crusade against the establishment. He wants an audience and a fight in equal measure, and he behaves as though both are always within reach.

Jake Weber plays him with real relish, finding the charisma underneath the bluster so that his rants land as persuasive rather than cartoonish. The writing uses him to dramatize how media provocation curdles into something more dangerous, and Weber never lets you fully dismiss him — which is exactly the point.
