Bree

Bree turns up on the fringes of the Roses' new life in Schitt's Creek, one of the town's local faces who treats the family's fish-out-of-water discomfort as simply the way things are. She's unbothered by their bewilderment, going about her business with the easy, unimpressed calm of someone who has always lived here.

The show's comedy runs on the gap between the Roses' old glamour and the town's plain normalcy, and small parts like this one carry that joke without straining for it. Brittany Allen plays her with a dry, grounded matter-of-factness that lets the absurdity land on the Roses' side, not hers.
