Brain Balls

Brain Balls is exactly what his name promises: a minor New New York barfly whose exposed, bulging brain hemispheres sit outside his skull like two extra fists. He drifts through crowd scenes and parties, rarely speaking, existing mostly to be stared at and to make the world of Futurama feel one shade stranger and more grotesque.

He works because Futurama trusts a sight gag to do all the labor — no explanation, no backstory, just a guy with his brain on the outside standing around like it's normal. Maurice LaMarche gives him barely a line, which is the joke: the visual is so absurd that dialogue would only get in the way.
