Boy

Boy is one of the many incidental faces that drift through Futurama's future New New York — a small, nameless role dropped into a crowd scene or a passing bit of business rather than a figure with a story of his own. He appears, does his brief job, and vanishes back into the background.

The charm here is entirely Tress MacNeille's, one of the show's great utility voices, tossing off a throwaway kid's line with the same commitment she brings to any of her larger parts. It's a reminder that Futurama's world feels lived-in precisely because even its smallest citizens get a real voice.
