Bonnie Bonnie

Bonnie is a minor face in the sprawling world of Futurama, one of the many small parts that pop up around New New York without ever taking center stage. She appears, does her bit, and steps aside, the kind of character the show tosses off with total confidence.

The joy here is craft rather than plot: Tress MacNeille, one of animation's great utility players, gives Bonnie a distinct voice and comic shape in what's likely only a few lines. It's a reminder that Futurama's background is stuffed with tiny, fully realized jokes if you're paying attention.
