Bob Stookey

Bob is a survivor who joins the Prison group after wandering with other doomed camps, carrying visible scars from what he's endured. Quiet, capable, and self-deprecating about his own weaknesses, he tries to make himself useful in small, steady ways while keeping a wary distance from hope itself.

Lawrence Gilliard Jr. plays Bob's warmth as hard-won rather than naive, a man who has watched groups die around him and still chooses gentleness. The writing lets him be funny and sad in the same breath, and that unshowy decency makes him feel like a real person rather than a plot function.
