A minor face in Futurama's crowded New New York, the Black Street Racer is exactly what the name promises: a competitor who shows up behind the wheel, cocky and fast-talking, ready to burn rubber and trade trash talk before the race even starts. He's background color more than main event.

Futurama's gift is treating even a one-scene racer like he's got a whole life offscreen, and Phil LaMarr's knack for quick, confident line readings gives him personality in seconds flat. It's a small part, but it lands because the show never treats small parts as filler.
