The Black Rabbit of Inlé, also known as Inlé-rah ("Prince/Chief of the Moon" or "Prince/Chief of the Dead") to his ghostly Owsla, is a major mythological figure in the Watership Down series. He is the grim reaper of the rabbit world who takes rabbits away at their predestined times of death.
