Bill Pargrave

Bill Pargrave is Eve's closest friend and colleague inside the security services, a married father who treats the job with equal parts diligence and mischief. Gregarious and a little reckless after a few drinks, he's the office confidant who makes tedious surveillance work feel bearable, and who Eve trusts more than almost anyone.

David Haig plays Bill as thoroughly, disarmingly human — warm, funny, faintly ridiculous after a night out — which is exactly why he matters to the show's texture. He supplies the ordinary decency and friendship that the world of spies and killers keeps threatening to swallow whole.
