Bill Clinton's Head

Preserved in a jar at the Head Museum like so many other twentieth-century notables, Bill Clinton's Head turns up around Futurama's 31st century still talking politics, still glad-handing, and still very much enjoying being recognized. He carries himself with the easy, folksy authority of a man who assumes he's still in charge of something.

The joke is the flatness of the premise played completely straight: a disembodied head with full presidential swagger, bobbing in fluid, cracking wise like nothing's changed. David Herman nails the cadence—warm, confident, a little too pleased with himself—so the gag lands purely on delivery rather than explanation, which is why it never stops being funny.
