Bill is one third of a shambolic odd-job outfit that will do "anything, anytime" for money, and the loudest, scrappiest member of it. Small, hairy, and perpetually indignant, he's the scheming everyman of the trio, quick to grab the microphone, start a chase, or burst into song when the plot allows.

Bill Oddie plays a heightened, gleefully undignified version of himself, and the trick is his total commitment to whatever indignity the sketch demands, pratfall, tantrum, or musical number. His energy is the engine of the group's chaos, and his sly working-class bluster against Graeme's poshness and Tim's twitishness gives the trio's chemistry its comic friction.
