Biff turns up as one of the many odd faces populating the fringes of New New York, part of the sprawling background cast that gives Futurama's future its texture. He is not central to the plot — just another voice in the crowd, glimpsed briefly, going about his own small business while the main characters chase the episode's real story.

David Herman is one of Futurama's great utility players, and characters like Biff show why: even a passing figure gets a fully committed vocal choice, a specific rhythm or tic that makes the world feel inhabited rather than empty. It's the kind of small craftsmanship that rewards rewatching.
