Benjamin Horne

Ben Horne owns most of Twin Peaks — the Great Northern Hotel, half the town's business dealings, and a Norwegian investment deal he badly needs to close. He's a smiling civic pillar with a mistress, a shady casino upstairs, and daughters he loves in ways more complicated than he'd admit.

Richard Beymer plays Ben with a silky, unhurried menace that never tips into cartoon villainy — you can watch him charm a room and calculate a betrayal in the same breath. The show keeps peeling back layers of hypocrisy and genuine feeling underneath the polish, and Beymer makes both halves believable.
