Benedict is the second Bridgerton son, sketchbook often in hand, more drawn to art school and masquerade parties than the marriage mart his siblings navigate. Easygoing and curious, he drifts a little apart from family expectation, happy to watch and paint rather than scheme or court.

Luke Thompson plays him with a loose, unhurried charm that stands out against his siblings' sharper ambitions — Benedict seems genuinely unsure what he wants, and that openness makes him feel less like a Regency archetype than a young man still becoming himself, which is rarer and more interesting than it sounds.
