Bender's Ringtone

This isn't a character so much as a punchline: the sound Bender's phone makes, voiced by John DiMaggio in his own robot register. It exists purely as a gag — a little burst of Bender-ness announcing itself, self-important and abrupt, exactly like the robot it belongs to.

It works because Futurama never misses a chance to be silly about its own mechanics, and having Bender's ringtone sound like Bender is the kind of tiny, disposable joke that rewards people paying close attention. DiMaggio commits to it with the same gravelly bravado he gives the character himself.
