Bank Teller

A minor functionary glimpsed behind the counter of a New New York bank, the Bank Teller exists to process whatever absurd financial transaction the plot requires — handing over documents, quoting fees, or explaining some galaxy-sized bureaucratic snag with total deadpan calm.

Billy West, already voicing half the regular cast, slips into these one-scene roles without fanfare, giving even a background bureaucrat a distinct clipped cadence. It's a small pleasure of Futurama that a nothing character like a teller can sound fully inhabited rather than filler.
