Bailiff

The Bailiff keeps order in whatever courtroom the crew of Planet Express finds themselves dragged into, another one of the future's faceless functionaries. He announces cases, calls for order, and treats absurd interstellar law with the same flat, procedural seriousness a bailiff would bring to any ordinary dispute.

Maurice LaMarche, already doing heavy lifting elsewhere in the cast, gives this small role a dry, official gravity that plays perfectly against Futurama's habit of staging total lunacy inside deadpan bureaucratic ritual. The joke is always that nobody in the room reacts to how insane the case actually is — and the Bailiff sells that commitment completely.
