Futurama's genius is in these throwaway citizens: a name flashed once, voiced with total commitment, never explained. Phil LaMarr's ear for voices means even a blink-and-miss-it role gets a specific, lived-in texture rather than generic filler, which is exactly why the show's world feels so absurdly, believably full.
