Auto-Pilot is the flat, disembodied voice that runs the Planet Express ship's systems, chiming in with mission updates, warnings, and the occasional bit of stray commentary. It has no body, no stake in the crew's squabbles, and no interest in anything beyond its programmed function — which is exactly the point.

Maurice LaMarche gives the announcements a bone-dry, PA-system deadpan that turns routine dialogue into a punchline delivery system, undercutting chaos with total indifference. It's a tiny piece of world-building disguised as a joke machine, and the show trusts it to land laughs precisely because it never once tries to be funny on purpose.
