Australian Man

He turns up where you least expect him, an unnamed background figure in New New York who happens to be Australian, and the show never lets you forget it. Loud, cheerful, and gone as quickly as he arrives, he exists mainly to detonate one accent joke and vanish back into the crowd.

The joke is entirely in the commitment. John DiMaggio, already carrying the show as Bender, drops into a broad, gleeful Australian bark for a character who barely has a name, and the sheer unnecessary enthusiasm of it is the punchline. Futurama's gag economy runs on exactly this kind of throwaway excess.
