Aracneon

Aracneon arrives as one of Futurama's parade of one-off aliens, a spindly, many-limbed presence dropped into the Planet Express crew's latest scrape. He carries himself with the outsized confidence typical of the show's monster-of-the-week figures, more interested in asserting status than in listening to the humans (and robot) currently ignoring him.

The character exists mostly as a showcase for Maurice LaMarche's vocal range, and that's enough. LaMarche has built a career voicing booming, self-important aliens on this show, and Aracneon gets the same treatment: a big, theatrical register draped over a creature designed purely for a quick visual gag and a punchline exit.
