Antron McCray (Teen)

Antron McCray is fifteen, easygoing and close to his father, more interested in girls and being liked than in trouble. On the night of the Central Park attack he is swept up with other boys from the neighborhood, pulled into a police station where he insists, again and again, that he has done nothing.

Caleel Harris plays Antron's fear as something almost physical — a kid visibly shrinking under adult authority he still instinctively trusts to be fair. The show lingers on his relationship with his father, and Harris makes you feel exactly how much a child's faith in a parent can be used against him.
