Antarian Children

The Antarian children are a handful of extraterrestrial kids glimpsed in the background of Futurama's sprawling universe, one of the countless alien races the crew of Planet Express stumbles across on some far-flung delivery. They appear briefly, doing whatever odd, small thing the plot needs from them, then vanish back into the show's teeming cosmic scenery.

Futurama's genius is in never wasting a joke on something disposable, and giving minor alien roles like these to Lauren Tom is part of that generosity. She brings the same comic specificity to a few lines of alien-child chatter that she gives Amy Wong, so even a blink-and-miss-it bit lands with a distinct, funny voice.
