Anime Professor Farnsworth

This is Professor Farnsworth reimagined in an anime register — the same batty, ancient inventor and head of Planet Express, but redrawn with wide eyes and dramatic flourishes for a parody sequence. He still barks orders, forgets what year it is, and treats his employees as expendable test subjects, just with more sparkle.

The gag lives entirely in the mismatch: Farnsworth's senile cruelty rendered in the breathless, sincere visual language of shonen anime. David Herman voices him instead of the usual actor, which adds another layer of off-kilter novelty. It's Futurama's love of format parody distilled into one small, gleeful joke.
