Angry Passenger

A nameless rider aboard one of Planet Express's chaotic deliveries, this passenger exists mainly to voice frustration at the general incompetence and mayhem swirling around them. They appear briefly, complain loudly, and vanish back into the crowd of one-off New New York citizens who populate the show's background.

Futurama's throwaway characters often carry more comic weight than their screen time suggests, and Lauren Tom's vocal delivery gives this bit part a sharp, exasperated energy. It's a small illustration of the show's gift for filling even its margins with fully committed, funny voice work.
