Andre Johnson Jr. — Junior to everyone — is Zoey's younger brother, newly arrived on the same college campus and trying very hard to seem like he belongs there. He's earnest, a little awkward, prone to overthinking every social interaction, and endearingly uncool in a world that runs on cool. He wants friends, confidence, and not to embarrass himself.

Marcus Scribner plays him without a trace of condescension toward the character's dorkiness, which is what makes Junior funny rather than pitiable — he commits fully to the earnestness instead of winking at the audience. The writing lets him be genuinely smart and genuinely clueless at once, a combination that's rarer and harder to pull off than it sounds.
