Andrea "Andie" McPhee

Andie arrives in Capeside as the new girl, bright and relentlessly capable, determined to reinvent herself and slot into a group of friends already thick with history. She's chatty, competitive, and eager to please, with a cheerfulness that feels a little too practiced — as if being upbeat is a project she's working hard at.

Meredith Monroe plays the perkiness with just enough strain that you sense something underneath before the show tells you. Andie could easily be the outsider who disrupts a friend group for plot's sake, but the writing gives her real appetite — for grades, for belonging, for Pacey — that makes her feel like she wants a life, not just a role in someone else's.
