Andre "Dre" Johnson

Dre Johnson is an advertising executive who has built a comfortable, upper-middle-class life for his family in the suburbs — and worries constantly that comfort is costing them something. He's loud, proud, quick to lecture, and determined that his kids understand where they come from, even as his wife and children roll their eyes.

Anderson plays Dre's anxieties as genuinely funny rather than preachy, turning dinner-table arguments about identity into big, physical comedy without losing the real stakes underneath.
