Allison Hargreeves is Number Three of the Hargreeves siblings, a onetime superhero turned Hollywood actress whose power lets her bend reality just by starting a sentence with "I heard a rumor..." She returns to her estranged family's crumbling mansion for their father's funeral, poised and guarded, clearly carrying grief and distance she'd rather not explain.
Raver-Lampman plays Allison as someone fluent in charm because charm has always been a tool, which makes her stillness in family scenes land harder. The rumor power is a clever, unsettling gift for the writers: a woman who can make anyone do anything raises real questions about consent, control, and what she's owed versus what she's taken, and Raver-Lampman never lets you forget the cost.
The Rumor (originally Number Three, legally Allison Hargreeves) is a member of the Umbrella Academy able to manipulate reality through lying.
