Alien Disguised as Human

This is one of Futurama's many one-off aliens who walk among humans in the crudest possible disguise, usually a lumpy rubber human suit that fools absolutely no one. He turns up in a crowd scene, says something offhandedly monstrous or clueless about Earth customs, and vanishes back into the background where he came from.

Futurama gets endless mileage out of throwaway gags like this, and John DiMaggio's gruff, matter-of-fact line delivery sells the joke instantly: the alien is never flustered about his terrible disguise, which is funnier than any elaborate reveal could be. It's a small piece of proof that the show's world is dense with jokes even in its margins.
